GR Kart Parts isn't just a parts store — it's the result of years spent at the track, wrenching on karts, chasing lap times, and learning what it really takes to compete. We're the Rowe family, and karting isn't a hobby for us. It's a way of life.
The Grasshopper Racing Story
We're the team behind Grasshopper Racing — a family go-kart racing team based out of Harrod, Ohio. The "GR" in GR Kart Parts stands for Grasshopper Racing, and everything we do is rooted in that identity. We've been competing since 2015, and our son Bryan is the driver, with the whole family in it together: from loading the trailer to dialing in the setup, every race weekend is a family effort.

Bryan has earned his results the hard way — on the track. He's won multiple track championships at Cridersville Speedway, including titles in Clone Lites, Medium, Heavy, and Small Block Open. Those wins aren't just trophies on a shelf; they're proof that the setup, the parts, and the preparation we put into Grasshopper Racing actually work.
Over the years, we learned something that every kart racer eventually figures out: finding quality parts at a fair price is harder than it should be. We spent countless hours sourcing components, comparing vendors, and figuring out what actually works at speed — not just what looks good on a spec sheet.
From Swap Meet to Parts Store
Before GR Kart Parts, we ran the Grasshopper Racing Go Kart Swap Meet for five years — connecting racers with the parts and gear they needed to stay competitive. That experience gave us a deep understanding of what the karting community actually needs, and what was missing from the market.
When we made the transition to a full parts store, we brought that same community-first mindset with us. Every product we carry is something we've evaluated through the lens of a real racing family — not a corporate buyer working off a catalog.
